Target: Urban and semi-Urban Tamil audiences
The idea:
Showcase the pure heartedness of a racially discriminated girl - in a way to send out a message that skin color is only external.
The Film's screenplay revolves around the voice of the little girl. She innocently asks the most basic yet pertinent questions on why black skin is looked down upon by society.
Highlights:
The focus of the promo and the TV series was to showcase the discrimination against darker races.
- The beautifully written VO and music heighten the grief of the lead character
- We end it with HOPE! The 'HOOK' as we call it, to bring back the audience to watch the show.
Result:
- The Show received the highest opening in its category
- Longest running show on Colors Tamil
- the Lyrics and Music received much appreciation from all quarters
- Most watched Promo for Colors Tamil
